Our story

Born on the shop floor

HexaTechniX was founded in 2012 in Córdoba, Argentina, within the automotive industry. Project after project we added international work, an office in Spain (2019) and an entity in the USA.

Today we deliver high-level engineering for mechatronic systems and advanced production and control systems. We integrate mechanics, electronics and software across every phase: design, part manufacturing, sub-assembly, installation and commissioning. We also take part in specific phases of projects for world-class companies.

Milestones of our history

2012
- HexaTechniX is founded in Córdoba, Argentina.
2013
- First international project: installation of the MQ200B assembly line at the VW Córdoba plant.
2014
- We travel to the USA to become a certified STANLEY Solution Provider.
2015
- MQ200A line adapted for the 6-speed gearbox and MQ200 multi-purpose line together with thyssenkrupp at VW Córdoba.
2016
- Q-Offensive MQ250 project at the VW Córdoba plant.
- Given the continuity of projects, we open an office-workshop inside the VW Córdoba plant.
2017
- We move to our current headquarters at Hornero 284, Córdoba.
- We renew the STANLEY Solution Provider certification in the USA.
2018
- Verlagerung project at the VW Córdoba plant.
- Automation of 17 welding cells at the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant.
2019
- We open Hexatechnix Ibérica in Barcelona, Spain.
- Installation of the MQ281 assembly line at VW Córdoba.
- We launch the HEXA Systems product line.
2020
- Multiple wheel nutrunner for the Ford Ranger, General Pacheco plant.
- Design, development and installation of the DS MQ281 disassembly line at VW Córdoba.
2021
- Insufflation booth for PSA Peugeot Citroën, El Palomar plant.
- Hanger fixture for Toyota, Zárate plant.
- ISO 9001 certification.
2022
- We turn 10!
- Commissioning of the MQ-281 assembly and disassembly lines at VW Córdoba.
2023
- Recommissioning of the ZF automatic transmission line in Gray Court, USA.
- Automation of the two-tone body flow at PSA El Palomar.
2024
- Commissioning of 6 stacker cranes for the BMW battery warehouse in Debrecen, Hungary.
- Scania engine assembly line in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil.
- Paint shop safety systems at FIAT Córdoba and PSA El Palomar.
- Screwdriving fixtures for the new Ford Ranger.
2025
- Commissioning of BMW battery lines in San Luis Potosí (Mexico) and Woodruff (USA).
